Sand barrier fences are mainly used in desert areas to accumulate sand blown by wind, breeze, or force in a designated place. As dunes in certain areas are very critical in the Middle Eastern regions, they are protected by the means of sand barriers or sand fences during heavy storms. These fences also help in controlling sand erosion, stabilize sand dunes, and help in reducing the flow of sand on roads and highways.
The fence or sand barriers are attached to a perforated HDPI net at regular intervals. At a first glance, it would look like a common fence set-up. The installation is done in such a way that the fence fixtures are not disturbed, uprooted, or buried during stormy conditions. Our Ghosh Group Sand Barriers have the capacity to stop more than 50% of sand around the fencing areas. We also take care to add an extra level of protection in case of heavy wind storms.
